NUM Convention 2025: Only a few places left!

Our registration page has been online for over a month now and we are delighted that so many people have already registered for the NUM Convention 2025 on 25 and 26 February at the bcc Berlin.

If you have not yet registered, please do so as soon as possible, as our ticket contingent will soon be exhausted and we will then set up a waiting list: Please also register automatically or via num-events@charite.de if you are unable to attend.

You can look forward to a varied programme - including a panel discussion on "The role of the NUM in the clinical research system in 10 years' time: Where do we need to go?". Prof Martin Hrabě de Angelis, Prof Dr Heyo K. Kroemer, Dr Annette Schmidtmann, Prof Jens Scholz, Prof Blanche Schwappach-Pignataro and Prof Wolfgang Wick will provide you with a regulatory and strategic classification of the NUM in the overall German clinical research environment.

In the afternoon, we will then start the parallel sessions, which this year will be organised "by the community for the community". You can expect 20 different sessions on topics such as the Health Data Utilisation Act (GDNG), telemedicine, patient participation and routine data use.

On the evening of 25 February, you will also have the opportunity to round off the first day at the evening get-together with dinner and music and to network.

On the second day, an exciting keynote speech by Professor William Whiteley from the Usher Institute of Population Health Sciences and Informatics at the University of Edinburgh awaits us in the morning. This will be followed by the second round of sessions.

The full programme can be found here and on the NUM Hub convention portal. If you have already registered for the event, we would like to invite you to use the portal to find out more about the individual sessions, discuss the respective topics and thus actively participate in shaping the event. You will also find a link to a survey at the end of each session room, which will ask you about your interest in participating. This way you can help with the planning. Thank you in advance, see you in February!
