National Task Force

The NUM is supported by a National Task Force. It is responsible for coordinating NUM activities between academic medical centres and politics, and it supports the NUM in prioritising research and involving other scientific networks.

The members of the National Task Force were appointed by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). The Federal Government is involved in the Task Force through representatives of the BMBF and the Federal Ministry of Health (BMG).
