The German Research Foundation (DFG) would like to increasingly promote data sharing between industry and science. The DFG is inviting scientists and representatives from commercial enterprises to a workshop in order to design the framework conditions for such collaborations in the most target-orientated and needs-based way possible. The aim is to jointly discuss the content and functional design of potential cooperation projects.
In addition to networking, this ideas workshop is also intended to form the basis for a future DFG call for proposals, which will provide further impetus and enable temporary research data collaborations.
The central aim of this workshop is to clarify fundamental questions in the context of research data cooperation, ideally on the basis of concrete project ideas submitted by the participants (with or without cooperation partners).
The workshop will take place on 20 February 2025 at the Quadriga Forum in Berlin.
An expression of interest in participating must be sent to the e-mail address below by 6 December 2024 at the latest - either with a project idea for the call for proposals or including an informal statement of interest in participating.
